About the Show
Calling all rock stars and ballerinas to the stage! "Yellow Shoes" is an interactive music experience for the whole family. Lisa Biales will present her new show "Yellow Shoes" at the Barrow Street Theatre, 27 Barrow Street @ 7th Avenue South, on January 12 and 13th at 11am. The one-woman interactive musical, written for families, takes you on a journey to places of the heart. Lisa writes songs that are like short stories with images of dinosaurs, kittens, playground games, household chores and family dynamics. Lisa brings dancers on stage for her song "Ballerina Girl" and she teaches a future rock star how to play harmonica. "I envision everyone having a magical theater experience," said Biales. "Much of the show will involve the audience, which will make each performance very exciting."
