Baby wants Candy
About the Show
Baby Wants Candy (BWC) asks the audience for a title of a musical that has never been performed before. The first title they hear then becomes the title and basis for that evening's 60 minute completely improvised musical. BWC is accompanied by a full band.
BWC was founded in Chicago in 1997, and has performed over 1,400 completely improvised musicals to sold-out crowds from Singapore to Edinburgh. BWC has featured performers like Stephanie Weir and Nicole Parker (MadTV), Rachel Dratch and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), Al Samuels and Kevin Fleming (Sports Action Team), Peter Gwinn (Colbert Report), Garry Tallent (Bruce Springsteen and the E St Band), and Mark Pender (Max Weinberg 7) to name a few. BWC has become a talent pool of some of the nation's strongest musical and comedic talent.
